You can try out most features of the program without payment, but Save, Save As, and Print functions are disabled until the program is validated.

Depending on your computer settings :

  • right-click and select Save As... Then choose the download location;
  • answer the security questions of your anti-virus software.

Install by running the downloaded file.

 

The installation will place icons for the program and the PDF manual on your desktop.  It will also create a folder called "My Weaving" in your Documents folder.  There are sample files in "My Weaving".

Execute Fibeworks.

 

Ignore the validation request to try the program without payment. However, you cannot save the files or print them until you have purchased and validated them.
There is no time limit for trial use.

Drag the file .zip to your Documents folder.

Install by running the downloaded file.

 

Double-click on the zip file. It will unzip into a Fiberworks folder...  Please note that the folder also contains a folder ''Sample'' including sample files.

Execute Fibeworks.

 

The first time you open Fiberworks MacOS will block it.  To unblock Fiberworks:

  • Open the folder and double-click on the Fiberworks icon (the shuttle). A warning will appear with no option to open. Do not put the Fiberworks folder or icon in the trash.
  • Go to the Apple menu and choose System Preferences. Find the Security and Privacy section.
  • In the General tab, at the bottom of the panel, there will be a message "Fiberworks.app has been blocked..." and a button at the bottom right "Open anyway." Click on this button.
  • From now on you should be able to open Fiberworks with the usual double-click.
